University of Tuscia is inviting you to a Training event on organic plant breeding: Evaluation of durum wheat accessions suitable for organic farming. The event will take place on Saturday 28th May, from 5 pm to 7 pm, on Aquilani’s farm, Strada Dogana (SP4) km 4.6, Montalto di Castro (VT), Italy.

The event is open to any farmer who wants to participate, and it will take place in the field trial where 10 durum wheat accessions are sown.

A questionnaire will be provided to each farmer. It will be divided into three major parts: the first part where the farmer will provide us with information about his farm; a second part where the farmer will tell us what he thinks are the most important traits for organic farming; a third part where the farmer evaluate directly every single accession in the field.
