The University of Tuscia is inviting you to a training event on organic plant breeding. The event will take place on Friday 10th June, from 5 pm to 7 pm, on Azienda Agricola Pastificio Fornovecchino farm, Str. Prov. Ombrone Km 4.800, Viterbo. The event is open to any farmer who wants to participate, and it will take place in the field trial where 10 durum wheat accessions are sown. A questionnaire will be provided to each farmer. It will be divided into three major parts: the first part where the farmer will provide us with information about his farm; a second part where the farmer will report what he thinks are the most important traits for organic farming; a third part where the farmer directly evaluates every single accession in the field.
L’università degli Studi della Tuscia vi invita all’evento di formazione su allevamento di piante in biologico. L’evento si terrà venerdì 10 giugno dalle 17:00 alle 19:00 presso l’Azieda Agricola Pastificio Fornovecchino ubicata in Str. Prov. Ombrone Km 4.800, Viterbo. L’evento è aperto a qualsiasi agricoltore che desideri partecipare e si svolgerà in un campo prova con 10 diverse accessioni di frumento duro. Verrà distribuito un questionario diviso in tre parti: nella prima parte l’agricoltore riporterà informazioni riguardo la sua azienda; nella seconda parte l’agricoltore riporterà quali secondo lui siano i tratti più importanti per l’agricoltura biologica; nella terza parte l’agricoltore valuterà direttamente ogni singola accessione in campo.
