The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia (KIS) held a bilateral meeting on 20 March 2026 with researchers from the University of Udine to strengthen collaboration in buckwheat research. The discussions focused on opportunities for joint work within ongoing projects and the development of future initiatives aimed at advancing buckwheat breeding and sustainable production. Results from the ECOBREED project were also presented and are expected to support and inform future collaborative activities. The meeting highlighted a shared commitment to deepening scientific cooperation and innovation in this increasingly important crop sector.
