We are pleased to announce the upcoming ECOBREED Organic Breeding Conference, which will take place in the Glass Hall at the Grand Hotel Union Eurostars in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 17 to 19 January 2024. This conference will be dedicated to the further development of organic plant breeding and will present the results of our ECOBREED project.
Main highlights:
- Sessions on various organic plant breeding topics: the organic landscape and policy changes, genetics for the improvement of organic varieties, as well as variety evaluation and farmer participatory trials. The first day of the conference will also include a round table on organic breeding, varieties, (O)HM and seed availability.
- Invited speakers: Join us as we host distinguished speakers from the fields of organic farming, organic breeding and organic policy.
