From 28 August 28 to 6 October 2025, the SPOZNAJ project presented an exhibition at Gallusovo nabrežje in Ljubljana, Slovenia, highlighting how open science fosters innovation, trust, and informed decision-making. As part of the exhibition, a poster on the ECOBREED project showcased how farmers and researchers collaborate to develop crop varieties suited for organic production. Through on-farm trials and participatory breeding, 68 farmers from 12 countries helped test and select wheat, buckwheat, soybean, and potato varieties best adapted to organic systems and local conditions. This approach exemplifies the principles of collaboration, transparency, and knowledge sharing promoted by open science.
