Our partner IFVC from Serbia has achieved a significant milestone within the ECOBREED project as they succesfully registered a new variety NS ECOB. The variety underwent registration trials to evaluate its performance and adaptability. NS ECOB is a high-protein variety with a  short growing season specifically selected for organic and low-input production systems. The variety was also featured in an article in a local Serbian newspaper, where it even made it to the front page of the printed version.
